I'm having problems with Shogun 2. It keeps on crashing during battles. When it crashes the screen will freeze and the audio will cut out. For a moment the audio will resume and the visuals continue for a few frames as well, but then Shogun 2 stops and returns to the desktop with no message at all. It is very odd and it has happened multiple times for a long time now. And I can't find a solution. Can any of you find anything wrong?
I believe there is a crash log as well (The .MDMP files?) but I'm not sure how to post tehm here.
Total War Shogun 2 Keeps Crashing
My Shogun 2 keeps crashing. I checked the events log and this is what it showed. Any idea what it is? I have already verified my integrity cache. Faulting application name: Shogun2.exe, version: 1.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x4ee10f10 Faulting module name: Shogun2.dll, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4ee10ece Exception code: 0xc0000005. I have a problem with Shogun 2 FotS. The thing is, it constantly crashes, which hasn't happened before I bought FotS. Everything was fine, I had the original Shogun 2 and Rise of the Samurai, and it didn't crash THAT much as it does now. The keep on crashing. I am not using any mod. The game usually crash in several ways: After winning a battle and when the screen is just about to return to game. When ever I click on any button in the game at either the end or the beginning of the turn and sometimes even during a turn. What can I do to fix it?
